congo

If there is one place that can never bore a nature lover, then it has to be Congo. Located in Africa, this destination is best known for its natural landscapes. Plan an eco tour to Congo and explore this amazing African state that shares a border with Cameroon and the Central African Republic. Those who have read the Heart of Darkness Novel by Joseph Conrad would surely wanna explore the mystical Congo realm.

Bantu village

Feel free to discover the beautiful tropical rainforest and the unique culture of Mbandaka Pygmy and Bantou villages in the jungle. Adventurous people can also try a hand at the Gorilla trekking in the Virunga National Park during an eco tour to Congo. You can also be a part of the Congo Basin Tours to check out the amazing natural attractions of Congo.

Loango

Have fun on the Congo River and enjoy learning about the different local cultures. The beautiful Basilique Sainte Anne, Loufoulakari Falls and Loango are some of the other great attractions worth exploring during an eco tour to Congo.

The best time to visit Congo is between May to September, as the weather during this time is pleasant. The place otherwise received short rains from October to December and a good rainy season from January and May.

fantastic scenery. is it really viable to do a 'short break' to the Philippines though? I would love to go, but would probably want at least 5 days there.
