Tired of routine job and household chores and longing for a weekend break, go for Snowdonia National Park. The park was set up in 1951 and is the third most visited national park in Wales and England. Welsh National representatives and local government formed the Snowdonia National Park Authority with headquarters in Penrhyndeudraeth.

Make sure that you have ample time so that you can enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife to its maximum as the park has 37miles of coastline and is spread across 827 square miles. Once you go there you can also visit highest mountains in Wales like the Snowdon Massif, Mynydd Mawr and the Nantlle Ridge, peaks such as the Moelwynion. If you are ready to go to a remote place you can also visit Rhobell Fawr, the Arenig and the Migneint.

The sand dunes along the coastline of the park are worth watching. Feral goat, pole cats and Otters is a common sight. If you are lucky, you can have a sight of Pine Marten. You will find rarest of species of birds like osprey, peregrine, raven and Red Kite. Don’t forget to carry your raincoat as the area receives average rainfall of 4,473 millimetres per year. So take a break, go ahead, enjoy and come refreshed.
