Short City Breaks

180px-ShinjukuStreet02Tokyo, the capital city of Japan, is your perfect destination for a short city break.  The city is still the home of Japanese Imperial family. You will love the place for its numerous islands extending 1859km from central Tokyo. You will find the natural beauty of Tokyo mesmerizing. Long distance ferries and taxis will be your mode of transport, so its not heavy on your pockets. You can save some pennies for shopping.

If you are a nature lover, you will find the place best suited for you. Apart from islands, make sure to visit Meiji no Mori Takao Quasi-National Park and Ogasawara National Park. The Ueno Park consists of museums with statues and art works. You can learn the true city’s culture in Shitamachi Museum, National Museum for Western Art and Tokyo National Museum. Get accustomed with city’s fashion and youth style in Harajuku.

A foodie would love to spend some best moments of his lifetime here as the Japanese cuisine is internationally acclaimed. If you are visiting the place and you have not seen sumo wrestling, you have missed something which you will not find anywhere in the entire world. Go for sumo wrestling arena Ryōgoku Kokugikan and watch the thrilling wrestling shows. What else can you ask for? Pack your bags and explore the rich magnificent city.
