Are you tired of your everyday commuting from office to house and longing for a weekend break. Go for Palma, the capital city of Balearic Islands in Spain. This culture rich place is full of beaches that allure you. There are numerous of hotels and resorts for your comfortable stay here.

Generally the city experiences Mediterranean climate. It is fine to visit Palma whenever you desire except in the rainy months of September and November. The best time to visit Palma is during summers as the weather is just perfect for tourists and there is no need to pack your woolens. So enjoy the sandy beaches and experience the enthralling past.

palmaPalma is very well connected with transportation channels. The transport hub of Palma Plaça d’Espanya is worth trying. Palma people love to maintain cleanliness in the city. One of their astonishing way of maintaining cleanliness is their garbage collecting bins. The subtle and attractive bins are provided with a handle so when you put your refuse on top of it and rotate the handle, the refuse comes automatically on the lower side. It sounds funny but it is worth using. Palma_de_Mallorca-cathedral

La Seu in Cathedral Area is not to miss. Get a feel of Arabian past while strolling through the fascinating maze of streets in the Old City. If you are a lover of art and craft, then you will find delight in visiting some of the best museums in Palma city. Some of them include Museo de Mallorca, Es Baluard Contemporary Art Museum, Fundacion Pilar y Joan Miro and Palau March Museu, etc.

For foodies like me, Palma is BEST place to be as there are many international as well as local restaurants serving amazing cuisine. Even the night life at the bars and clubs is enticing.
